Jane Grayson Dasher, age 88, of Hardeeville, SC died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hospice Savannah.

Mrs. Dasher was born on November 22, 1929 in Hardeeville, SC, the daughter of the late Leland A. and Marie Cone Grayson. She was a 1947 graduate of Hardeeville High School and continued her formal education at Furman University, earning her degree in 1950. She then began her career with Eastern Airlines working as a Customer Service Agent. While working with Eastern Airlines she lived in Savannah, GA and Charlotte, NC and ultimately retired in 1988 after 38 years of service. Jane was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville and served as the church pianist for over 40 years.

Mrs. Dasher was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Jesse V. Dasher; son, Wayne Vestal Dasher; and brothers, L. Arnold Grayson, Jr., Russell E. Grayson, and J. Harris Grayson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Joanne Cooler Dasher; grandson, Wesley Vestal Dasher; and several nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville, 13 E. Main Street, Hardeeville, SC 29927. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow the service at St. Luke's Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3080 Okatie Highway, Bluffton, SC 29910.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville.
