Gordon Calvin Allen retired from LSU in data operations, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007. He was 88, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Watson.
Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home until religious service. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Victor Erwin; daughter, Carol Allen-Wood; son, Gordon Allen Jr.; daughter and sons-in-law, Debra and Paul Hesser and Don Wilkinson; and grandchildren, Victor Erwin, Keith Erwin, Heather W. Morrogh and her husband, Sean Morrogh, and John Wood and his wife, Penni Wood; great-grandchildren, London and Donavan Morrogh; brother, James Allen and his wife, Pat Allen; and sister, Elizabeth Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Allen; daughter, Eileen Wilkinson; parents, Clinton and Mary Allen; and brother, Dallas Allen.
He attended LSU and was a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
