Warren E. Decker, 85, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rumsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil L. Brady officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Decker died Wednesday, June 3, 1992, at Presbyterian Manor. He was born Sept. 2, 1906, in Atchison County, the son of Martin Luther and Nellie Eleanor Cline Decker.

He grew up in Leavenworth County and graduated from Easton High School. He then attended Lawrence Business College and worked at the Watkins National Bank and later the Lawrence National Bank from 1925 to 1945.

He then opened and operated Decker Coy Real Estate and Insurance Agency and was there until retiring in 1968.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 6 and Scottish Rite Bodies of Lawrence. Mr. Decker was a past director, president and chairman of the board of the Lawrence Savings Assn. He was a member and two-term director of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, and in 1948 served one term as a Lawrence city commissioner.

Mr. Decker married Elsie Virginia Weeks on Sept. 2, 1929, in Bushong. She survives at Presbyterian Manor.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
