Clarence Claud Belzung, Jr., age 87 of San Antonio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2020. He was born July 1, 1932 to Clarence and Lillian Belzung in San Antonio. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from City Public Service after more than 38 years of service. Clarence married Bonnie Jean Groves on January 24, 1953 and they were happily married for 67 years. He and Bonnie have been devoted members of San Pedro Church of Christ for more than 55 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Nolan, his grandson, Gary Nolan, his parents, his stepfather, Herbert Bradley, Sr. and his two sisters, Claudia and Ethel. Clarence is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Cynthia Pierdolla and her husband, Lawrence; son-in-law, Larry Nolan; grandchildren, Sarah Nolan, Jerry Nolan and his wife, Crystal, Amanda Pierdolla and Melissa Pierdolla; two great grandchildren; half-brother, Herbert Bradley, Jr. and his wife, Jeanie; numerous nieces and nephews.



SERVICES

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. The Service with Military Honors will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the Funeral Home Chapel. Due to the pandemic, Interment will take place at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association ~ www.act.alz.org/donate.
