He was born in Cass county, and was united in marriage with Mary Frances Sutton at Havana, Illinois, on March 31, 1894. A son, Lloyd, and a daughter, Edith, also preceded him in death.
The remains are at the Lintner funeral home, where services will be held, Tuesday, at 2 p.m., in charge of Reverend George Wilson. Interment will be made in Kilbourne cemetery.
