Haleen I. Ashley, 94, of Hot Springs, passed away December 28, 2019. She was born April 15, 1925 in Sikeston, Missouri to Walter and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Jenkins) Wilson. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed reading her bible. She was faithful to attend church and visit local revivals. She was a hard worker, making clothes, quilts, and crocheting for her family. She enjoyed gardening and canning and loved all pink flowers.

Haleen is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother Bessie Wilson; daughter Teresa Ashley; son Leon Ashley; grandson Alvin Tubbs Jr.; sisters Edna Lacey, Opal Erwin, Alma Wilson, Verleen Brown, and Dorothy Powell; brothers Walter Wilson Jr. and Otis Wilson.

Loving survivors include her children Ellen Tubbs, Clifford Ashley, Diana Donda, Jane Kelley, Doyle Ashley, Gale Ness, Michael Ashley, and Patrick Ashley; brother Jimmy Wilson; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild expected in January.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Adam Ashley, Kirk Burchfield, Zack Lawrence, Todd Ness, Chase Lillard, and Scott Couch. Honorary Pallbearer is Dr. Amy Reeves.
