Bennie Anding, age 91 of Orange, Texas, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 5, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Trout Creek Cemetery.

Bennie was born in Sugartown, Louisiana on July 20, 1928 to Elizabeth Welch Anding and Benjamin Franklin Anding. He had a hard life, losing his mother at birth and his father at the age of 15. Bennie was always able to find kindness and love for others. He was a hard worker and was able to work well into his 80’s. He retired from City Services as the chief cook and later worked for a security company.

He and wife, Evelyn Samantha Choate Anding lived in Orange area since 1953 and were long time members of the New Anointing Full Gospel Outreach. Bennie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Evelyn Samantha Anding, parents Benjamin and Elizabeth Anding and son Mike Anding

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Dianne Rayborn of Orange, TX, sons, Pat Anding and wife Marilyn of Oberlin, LA, Randy Anding and wife Rose of Orange, TX, daughter-in-law Ima Jean Anding of Vidor, TX, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, do something kind to help others as Mr. Bennie would have done.
