Floyd Earl Smith, 63, of Rt. 1, New Hope, died Monday at Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in New Hope. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. William Rasberry and the Rev. J. E. Jones will officiate.
Mr. Smith was the police dispatcher for the City of New Hope for seven years.
Survivors include a brother, Gordon Smith of New Hope; and several nieces and nephews.
