Blanche Marie Lawson, 90, of National Health Care in Desloge and formerly of Frankclay, died Oct. 2, 1998, at National Health Care in Desloge. She was born Nov. 19, 1907, in Leadwood. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Lawson and Dale Lawson,daughter Georgia in infancy, parents Milton and Sarah (Reeves) Watson, husband Arthur Lawson, six brothers, six sisters and one great granddaughter.

Lawson is survived by one son, Curtis Lawson and wife Annabelle of Frankclay, two daughters Norma (Mrs. Charles) Claunch of Leadwood and Billie (Mrs. Eugene) Denton of Leadwood, two daughters-in-law Janet Lawson of Desloge and Linda Lawson of Park Hills, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday Oct. 4, 1998, at 3 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Chapel in Leadwood, with Rev. William T. White officating. Burial was at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
