Memorial service for Hazel Anna Rinewalt, 91, of Lamesa will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Adams and Reverend Sam Lanham officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.

Hazel passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 in Lamesa, Texas.

She was born November 10, 1928 to N.T. and Pearl (Hazelwood) O’Brien in Lamesa, Texas.

She married Edwin Rinewalt November 6, 1947 in Lamesa, Texas.

She was a homemaker for most of her adult life and later became a saleswoman at Collins Department Store.

She loved playing word find games.

Hazel is survived by her son, Kent Rinewalt and wife, Brenda of Lamesa; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Rinewalt; son, Lyndell Rinewalt; sisters, Norma Brown and Wanda Beam; and brothers, Travis O’Brien and Dick O’Brien.
