Papa, as he was lovingly called by his family, can best be remembered by the simple, enduring loves of his life….his family and his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie, of 70 years, and his loving children: Tony Chambless (Joyce), Larry Chambless (Jan), Delaine Harrell (Richard), Angie Pugh (Andy), Millie Schroeder (Gary); grandchildren and great grands: Trey Harrell (Lauren), Chambless, Zeke, and Maddox; Clint Chambless (Sunny) Hudson; Amanda Meadows (Brodie), Ellie Kaye and Bryce; Kyle Harrell (Ann Louise), Ann Kathryn, Kyle, Walt, and Emma; Chase Schroeder (Mary), Grayson; Jess Anderson (Gary), Miles and Jackie Rae; Matt Chambless (Brandy), Briar; Chad Schroeder (Jordan), Davis; Morgan Pugh; Ellen Pugh; Ryan Schroeder; siblings: Leo Chambless (Helen), Wilma Chambless, Gerald Chambless (Ann) and lots of other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Kaye Chambless and Ellen Euneda Chambless, and his sister, Euenda Chambless along with his parents.

A private graveside service will be held at the Christian Valley Cemetery in Coatopa with Rev. Roy McDaniel officiating.
