William Evan Sperling died on April 14, 2004 at Northern Westchester Hospital. William was born on December 28, 1929 in Port Chester, NY to Belle Kendall and William Sperling. William married Vilma Gobbo on August 22, 1953 in Croton Falls, NY. William was a resident of Putnam County for the past 43 years and was employed as a printer by Benjamin Tyrell Inc. of New York City. He also was a substitute teacher in the area. He is survived by his wife Vilma; two children Valerie Towe and Scott Sperling; and five grandchildren. William was predeceased by his parents and a daughter Shelley Lynn. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday from 10-11 AM. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home 11 AM. Family is requesting donations to Myositis Association, Attn.
