Mrs. Charles E. Purvis [sic]
Mrs. Charles E. Purvis died at her home in Coburg Saturday morning after an extended illness. She was born Alida Fellows in Found [sic] du Lac, Wis., and when a child, moved with her family to Thorpe, Wis. She came to Eugene in 1902 and married Mr. Purvis in Hillsboro. The couple lived in Leaburg until 1921, when they came to Coburg. Mrs. Purvis was a member of the U.S.W.V. Auxiliary, and is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Alida Fellows of Eugene; and five sisters: Mrs. Dora Zeamon, Mrs. Coretta Adams of Junction City, Mrs. Cora Storey of Crow Stage, Mrs. Nora Ruscher of The Dalles, and Mrs. J.B. Antonette of Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral services will be held from the Poole chapel Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Mrs. K. Hutchings officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery No. 2.
