Mrs. May Chandler Henson, 75, of 13 Greenville Street, Piedmont, widow of John W. Henson, died yesterday at 12:30 p.m. at a local hospital following four days of serious illness.
Mrs. Henson was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late John W. Chandler and Mary Mattison Chandler.
She had spent most of her life in the county.
Mrs. Henson was a member of Piedmont Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mary Lou Henson and Mrs. Thomas C. Pack of Piedmont, and two grandsons.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by The Mackey Mortuary.

Funeral services for Mrs. May Chandler Henson, 75, of 13 Greenville Street, Piedmont, widow of John W. Henson, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Piedmont Methodist Church by the Rev. H. F. Bauknight.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Ross, C. A. Henson, John Summey, Charles Ross, Hugh Bridges and W. Fleet Bannister.
Mrs. Henson died Thursday.
The body is at the home.
The Mackey Mortuary is in charge.
