She was born March 6, 1927, in Newton, Iowa, to Henry Raymond and Agnes Bessie Wallace Horstman. She married Robert Lee Sleight in Peoria on June 23, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2005. He was cremated and his ashes and masonic apron were buried with her.
She was also preceded by one daughter, Sally Ann Murray.
Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie (Lowy) Schultz; one son, Henry Ray Fuller; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Volunteering was her passion, which included volunteering for many years at the Salvation Army food kitchen in Peoria.
She was a member of the former Bacon Memorial Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, with the Rev. Bob See officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
