SUDDEN DEATH
Last Monday, Ira B Folsom, a pioneer resident on the south side of the river, died suddenly in Big Oak flat. With other parties he was engaged in recovering a swarm of bees when he was attacked by a coughing spell, and before aid could reach him, he was in the throes of death and soon passed away. He was a native of New Hampshire and aged 70 years.
