PERU -- William D. Holley, 43, Rt. 2 Peru, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in North Manchester. He was electrocuted. Mr. Holley was helping a friend, William B. Farmer, North Manchester, take down a television antenna when the antenna fell on electrical wires, killing both men, said Darwin DeLaughter, Wabash County Coroner.
Born in Wabash, Mr. Holley was a supervisor and a relief foreman for the U.S. Gypsum Co., Wabash. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Becky and Tonya, both of Wabash; a son, Chad, at home; two stepsons, Brian and Jeff Kasuff, at home; a stepdaughter, Melissa Kasuff, at home; three brothers, Bernard, Jack and Robert, all of Wabash; and four sisters, Pauline French, Viola Lehner and Darline Graf, all of Wabash, and Matty Maas, Lowell.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
