Josh Hilberling, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 23 years. He was born on May 30, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Patrick Hilberling. He was a graduate of Victory Christian High School Class of 2007, in Tulsa, where he also played football. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Air Force. Josh enjoyed football; sports; playing video games and spending time with his family. Loving family members include his parents, Patrick and Jeanne Hilberling of Tulsa, OK; three brothers, Zach Hilberling, USAF, serving in Afghanistan, Scott Askew and wife Monica, of Broken Arrow, OK and David Askew of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Carrie Askew-Walker and husband Chuck of Houston, TX and Nikki Ross and husband Jason of Sand Springs, OK; grandmother, Beverly Hilberling of Owasso, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Victor Hilberling. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Owasso First Assembly of God in Owasso, Oklahoma with Pastor Bruce McCarty and Pastor John Daugherty officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made in memory of Josh to the 138 Family Readiness Group, 9100 East 46th Street North, Tulsa, OK 74115. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso, Oklahoma.
