Beth Linton, age 77 years of Hemlock, passed away at Mid-Michigan Health Center on Saturday March 28, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Burdette and Clara Reigle on August 21, 1941 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Beth married the love of her life, Glen Linton, on December 19, 1964 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Saginaw Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw General School of Nursing in 1965. She and Glen spent the next few years at Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta Canada preparing for the mission God had called them to. Returning to Michigan in 1970, they settled in to carry out that mission, caring for foster children.

Beth loved to open her home to friends and family. She spent her life nurturing those around her both physically and spiritually maintaining life-long contact with those she impacted. She and Glen worshiped at Midland Reformed Church alongside their spiritual family. She was involved with the Lutheran Via de Cristo Community of Central Michigan for many years. She worked for Saginaw General Hospital for many years mostly in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw in 2005. During her retirement, she dedicated herself to the development of a community garden in the Houghton Jones area of Saginaw and mentoring families in that area. She served on the board of the Houghton Jones Neighborhood Community Association for many years.

Beth is survived by her husband Glen Linton of Hemlock, daughters Crystal (Jeff) Cochensparger of Moore, OK; and Laura (Doug) Hollingsworth of Hemlock, MI; sons Alan (Cathy) Linton of Saginaw, MI; and Stephen Linton of Kent City, MI; grandchildren Keri Henderson, Matthew (Lisa) Pugh, Maurice Henderson, Brent Pugh, Brandon Blacksher, Thomas Hollingsworth, Jenna Linton, Grant Hollingsworth, Ryan Linton and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Cheryl (Mike) Oberlitner of Perrington, MI; brother Paul (Rick) Reigle of Benson, AZ; sister in law Carol Reigle of St. Joseph, MI and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Mark Reigle, and sister in law Karen Drinkard.
