Joan R. Williams, age 82 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on June 14, 1937 in La Crosse, WI the daughter of James and Eleanor (Crowley) Ingham.
Joan married James Williams from Harpers Ferry, IA in 1979 and later passed in July of 2003.
Joan loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with a ferocity all her own.
Joan is survived by her sons, Robert (Deborah), Craig, Brian, Jeff, a daughter Lisa Krueger, brothers, Ronald and Randall Ingham, a sister Candice Miller, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Gale Seymour of Ferryville, James Williams of Harpers Ferry, son Dennis, son in law Jay Krueger, brothers Gene, Bernard, and Jerome Ingham, a sister Mary Lou Ackerman, and a sister in law Grace Ingham.
Out of respect and concern for public health and safety, a private family service will be held graveside at Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, WI with Monsignor Charles Stoetzel officiating. A celebration of Joan’s life will be announced at a future date.
