Edith Christine Bankston, 83, of Ozark, Arkansas died Friday, March 27, 2020 in Ozark. She was a Homemaker, a former Nurse’s Aide at Ozark Nursing Home and a member of Faith Pentecostal Church. She was born December 3, 1936 in Eudora, Arkansas to Floyd and Bertha Hans Casey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Bankston; and two brothers, Paul Casey and Bernard Casey.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil "Bob" Bankston of Ozark; two daughters, Nancy Rofkahr of Altus, Arkansas and Susan Wilkens of Ozark; two sons, Steve Bankston and Tommy Bankston, both of Ozark; nine grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2020 at Belt Cemetery with Brother James Jones officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
