CHAMBERLAIN, Harry L. Heaven received a new angel Monday, February 29, 2016, at the age of 82 after a valiant battle with cancer. Harry was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 9, 1933 to Jacob H Chamberlain and Lillian M. Hawkins Chamberlain. He was in the US Army, served in Korea and retired from the National Guard. He retired from AK Steel Co. in Middletown, Ohio after 38 years of service in the Energy Department. After retiring in 1990, Harry and his wife moved to Inverness, Florida to enjoy fishing, golfing, and the mild winters. He loved to fish, golf, travel, hunt and watch the old westerns on TV. Actually, he thought he liked to hunt until he shot a deer and it broke his heart. After that, he only enjoyed watching them. But most of all, he loved to work with his hands and tell stories or jokes. For 25 years in Florida, he spent most of his time fixing things for others and was everyone's handyman. There was nothing he couldn't repair. In May of 2015, they moved back to Trenton, Ohio to be with and enjoy their family. He was loved by everyone he met and was a kind hearted person. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mildred Davis (James) brothers Jacob, Louie, Carl, John, Richard Chamberlain and grandson, Michael Chamberlain. He is survived by his wife Mollie Evans Chamberlain, daughter Cindy Akers (Terry), son David Chamberlain (Lisa), stepdaughters Marci Butts (Becky Eagle) and Becki Fields (Mark), five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Body donation to science was arranged by MedCure. A celebration of life will be held March 9, 2016 at Elk Creek Baptist Church, 7175 Elk Creek Road, Middletown, Ohio at 6:00 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. Before his death Harry requested that in lieu of flowers please pass on a good deed to someone who needs it.
