Katherine "Gay" Gabriella Hudson , 91, of Grant, passed away on February 11, 2020 in Fremont, Michigan. She was born on November 29, 1928 to Leland and Grizelda (Morrison) Blanchard in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1947. On November 29, 1958 she married Thomas Hudson in Cedar Springs, Michigan. Gay worked as a Secretary for Hudson Pontiac. She was a member of Grant Community Church and the Goodwill Circle at Grant Community. Gay is survived by her husband Thomas; children: Rodney (Roxanne) Hudson of Fremont, Robin (Brett) Mac Donald of Comstock Park; her grandchildren: Jared (Katy) Hudson, Morgan Hudson, Ashley Mac Donald, Aaron Mac Donald; two great-grandsons: Leland Hudson, Rex Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John (Dorothy) Blanchard, and sister Jane (Leonard) Allen. Visitation will be held Friday, February 14, 2020, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services, Grant Chapel, and Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Grant Community Church with funeral services at 2:00 pm with Pastor Steve VanderWest officiating. Burial will take place in the Parkview Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Grant Community Church, 115 W. State Rd., Grant, MI, 49327 .
