Charlie Monroe Edinfield, Jr., age 81, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Funeral Services for Charlie Edinfield, Jr. will be conducted from the Graveside on Monday, March 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Heritage Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Oliver officiating.

A native of Putnam County, Charlie was born on July 22, 1938 to the late Charlie Monroe Edinfield, Sr. and the late Fannie Clyde Moon Edinfield.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Eunice Mae Batchelor Edinfield ; his sister, Alma McDade ; and his brothers, Ellis Edinfield, Roy Edinfield, Grady Edinfield, and Emmett Edinfield. He lived in Milledgeville for most of his adult life.

Charlie retired from the Maintenance Department at Rheem Manufacturing, and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Charlie is survived by his longtime companion, Carolyn Sanders ; 3 daughters, Kay Callihan (& Mike) of Milledgeville, Tina Marie Decker (& Doug) of Biloxi, MS, and Donna Miller (& Richard) of Eatonton ; a “special daughter”, Pam Winterburn of Milledgeville ; his sister-in-law, Alice Brett ; 5 grandchildren, Chuck Edinfield, Baylen Decker, Dustin Duncan, Kelsey Weaver, and Jessica Moon ; 11 great grandchildren ; and several nieces and nephews.

Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville is in charge of arrangements.
