Avis Basham, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Thursday, May 11th in her home. She was a PBX operator at the Arkansas Employment Security Division and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and daughter Margaret Gibbs and grandson David Gibbs. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Basham and Marilyn Becraft both of Fort Smith a son Tommy Basham of Greenwood, grandchildren, Sandee Atkins, Chris and Todd Basham, Kathy Workman and Randy Gibbs and 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Eileen "Storm" Casey and Cora Clark and several nieces and nephews.
