Survived by his con Shane Crinnigan, daughter Amy (Justin) Lund and their children Mackenzie (Jason), Jack and Jayde and a great granddaughter Olivia, daughter Kelly Crinnigan (Nick Manwarren) and their children Calvin and Julia, son Tanner Crinnigan, brother Bill Crinnigan, sisters, Carol Crinnigan and Sue (Joe) Black and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwayne and Vivian (Davis) Crinnigan, sister Annie Crinnigan and his nephew Patrick David Black.
Graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1966 and then attended Iowa Central Community College.
In 1967, Dave was united in marriagae to Dinah Bloom. The couple were later divorced.
In 1976 he was united in marriage to Nancy Mehlin but were later divorced.
At one time Dave owned and operated Crinnigan's Bar and then owned and operated Apple Valley Paint and Repair until retiring in 2008.
