Larry graduated with honors in 1969 from Mt. Vernon High School. Larry retired in 2015 from Bunnell Construction Company and was self-employed carpenter. He loved to go fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson bike, a real jokester making people laugh, especially when he made a "Large Fart", also singing karaoke. Larry loved to do crossword puzzles and loved his animals, Doverman dog "Lover" and Thoughbred Horses.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Joyce (Shetterley) Anderson, whom he married on March 22, 1969; children, son, Larry Robert Anderson, Jr.; daughter, Rebecca Ann (Bradley) Pulley; grandson, Brandon Allen Pulley; brothers, Charlie (Lisa), Danny Lee (Bonnie) and Harry James (Shirley) Anderson; sisters, Diane Kay (Michael) Padgette, Tammy Lynn (Anthony) Hodge; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, and a few great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by sister, Janet Sue Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. March 16, 2020 at the Grinsteiner Funeral Home - 1601 East New York Street where services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop George Wright officating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
