Funeral services for Mrs. Agatha [Veprauskas] Abramovich, 79, of 718 Southford Road, Middlebury, were held Monday, May 11, at 1:15 pm from the Stokes Funeral Home, 134 Highland Avenue, Waterbury, to Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown, for a graveside service at 2 pm.
Mrs. Abramovich, wife of Salvatore Abramovich, died Thursday, May 7, at Waterbury Hospital.
She was born in Waterbury, February 4, 1913, a daughter of the late Matthew and Josephine [Sinkevich] Veprauskas. She attended Waterbury and Oakville schools. She was a communicant of St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Raymond Abramovich of Thomaston, the husband of Sandra Abramovich, Watertown's acting town manager, and Thomas Abramovich of Woodbury; a daughter, Mrs. Charles [Agatha A.] Wyler of Oxford; a sister, Mrs. Helen Shulzinsky of Waterbury; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
