Adam Martin Brickel passed away suddenly from a physical medical condition on November 12, 2017. Adam is the son of Naomi Hickey Brickel and Douglas Brickel, and brother of William, Kit, Mindy, Johnny, and Jude. He is also the grandson of his adoring grandmother, Kitty Hickey, and loved by his many cousins, aunts, uncles, countless friends, and his beloved dog, Kelly, whom he spent his last moments with.

Adam was a kind, funny, creative, and intelligent person, who had a charming way of being everyone's best friend. As a sophomore at New Rochelle High School, Adam was loved by everyone due to his friendly and charismatic personality and his way of being unapologetically himself. An entrepreneurial teen, Adam was known to buy and later sell designer sneakers. If he wasn't on the computer playing Minecraft, Adam spent his time doing impersonations, making prank phone calls, and drinking Starbucks Frappuccinos. We all will miss the color he brought into our lives everyday. There was truly no one like him.

The family received friends at the Brickel home on Tuesday (11/14) and Wednesday (11/15) between the hours of 3PM and 8PM at 535 Forest Avenue in New Rochelle, NY 10804.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Adam's life was held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 12 noon at Saints John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver Street, Larchmont, NY 10538.
