Adair William F "Fred", 83, of Ligonier, died Monday in Oak Leaf Village in Ligonier. He was born March 13, 1915 in Noble County to Walter and Nellie (Harroff) Adair. On Dec. 24, 1938 in LaGrange, he married Irene Fought. He retired in 1980 as a factory worker for Monsanto. Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Margaret Marks of Sturgis, Mich., and Eva Hicks of Ligonier. Funeral will be Thursday in Orr Funeral Home, Ligonier. Burial, Salem Center in Topeka. + 7-20-1998
