She was a member of State Street Baptist Church where she was very active in the American Baptist Women’s Group(ABW). Wanda was also a Sunday School Teacher at the church and was very proud that she was an Adult Education Teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years: Jess D.”Mac” McGuire, 2 daughters: Sara Jane McGuire and Julie Ann Martin, 2 sisters: Shirley Berry and Pauline Perdiew, and 2 brothers: Kenneth and Jerry Lane.
Survivors include her children: Carlotta Speigelhalder(Kenny), Steven R. Mount(Connie), Theresa Vest(Cecil), and David C. Mount(Sandy), 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, several Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes and due to COVID-19, will be held privately with her immediate family at State Street Baptist Church with burial in Old Union Cemetery.
