Half Century in Area Ends For Ted Moe
Theodore Moe, 78, Bainville, died May 2 at Roosevelt Memorial hospital in Culbertson. He had lived in the Bainville community nearly 50 years.
Moe was born Dec. 17, 1881, at Bergen, Wis., and lived there until 1910 when he moved to Bainville. While in Bergen he married Hattie Wolf om 1904, though she died a year later.
He farmed in the Bainville area until the death of his second wife in 1939. He married Mrs. Lydia Showers in 1930. Moe worked for various farmers in the Bainville community after that time.
Relatives surviving are a son, Hetland Moe of Lambert; a sister, Mrs. Inga Ness, Baconton, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday May 5, at 2 p.m., at First Lutheran Church, Bainville. Interment was in Bainville cemetery.
