She was born September 23, 1919 in Washington, IL to Charles A. Spring and Phoebe A. (Kinsinger) Spring.
She married William L. Kunard on August 15, 1946 in Lawrence, KS. He died September 1, 1985.
Surviving are her sons, Randy Kunard of Macomb, IL and Stan Kunard of Glenwood Springs, CO. and several nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Ethel Evans, Mildred (Dolly) Alexander, Katherine Funk, Bernice Roehm, Blanche Kice, a brother, Lyle Spring, and twin brother Donald Spring.
She moved from Illinois to Colorado in 1946 before moving back to Washington, IL in 1959 and then moving to Macomb, IL in 2013.
Before moving to Colorado, she worked as a telephone operator in Washington and a secretary at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in East Peoria. After moving back to Washington 1959 she worked at Central Grade School, Chuck's Appliance, Washington Oil Co. and Comet Supply.
She was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington for over 50 years and the Kennel Lake Sportsman's Club.
