James "Jimmy" Reynolds was a junior high school friend of Burt Reynolds. He was taken in by the Reynolds family in his late teens, but was not legally adopted until he was in his mid-40's. He was a Hollywood stuntman in Bad Boys (1995) and Nine Months (1995) as well as a transportation co-captain in L.A. Confidential (1997). He died six months after the death of Burt Reynolds.
