THOMAS PRESTON POWELL "TEX" Born January 28, 1930, passed away June 24, 2007. His career was Oilfeild Services through out Texas and Louisiana. He was a member of Calvary Houston Church. He and his spouse, Rae Powell, reside in Friendswood, TX. Tex was pre-deceased by spouse, Sunnie Powell and children, Thomas White, Terry Maronge, and Carole Buquet. He is survived by sister, Myrtle Kowis and daughters Mary Patterson, Robyn Buss and Shannon Denson, grandchildren Dawn Kelley, Sean White, Ricky Bethancourt, Kim Luther, Dwayne Blanchard, Stewart Buquet, Brandy Williams, Chad Maronge, Shawna P. Dodd, Brett Lovell, Tara Lane, and Trey & Ross Chambers and numerous great-grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his kind and loving heart and wonderful sense of humor. The Viewing will be at 9 am on Wednesday June 27th, and the Services will begin at 10 am.
