Savannah Courier, November 6, 1997-Eula Inman Wylie of Sardis died Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Lexington Methodist Hospital in Lexington at the age of 86. She was born in Hardin County on Feb. 5, 1911, the daughter of the late Thomas Edgar and Mary Adeline Smith Inman. On Aug. 12, 1950, Mrs. Wylie married to Jesse Howard Wylie, who preceded her in death on May, 19, 1990. Mrs. Wylie was a homemaker and also worked for the former Brown Shoe Company for two years. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church and lived in the Sardis area all her life. Services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the Sardis First Baptist Church with burial in Prospect Cemetery. Glen Scott officiated. Mrs. Wylie is survived by one daughter, Imogene Glimpse of Sardis; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
