He was born in Black Oak, Arkansas to the late Fred and Essie Jeffers and was a longtime resident of the Caraway area. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a machine specialist with American Greetings. Larry also served in the Arkansas National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Jeffers of the home; a daughter and her husband, Vickey and Larry Browning of Manila; two sons, David Jeffers and Keith Jeffers, both of Caraway; two sisters, Geraldine Dennis of Cherokee Village and Patsy Crews of Caraway; a brother, Jimmy Jeffers of Ash Flat; and seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Brad, Amy, Krey, Rebecca, Amanda and Nikki Jo.
A celebration of his life was held at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette. Burial was in Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
