GREENSBORO - Annie Rebecca Isley died on January 16, 2018 at her home at age 98. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, at Guilford Baptist Church, 5904 West Market Street Greensboro, NC 27409. Burial will be private.
A lifelong resident of the Guilford College community, she lived an industrious life as wife of the late William Robert Isley. She was a homemaker, mother, and seamstress and she especially enjoyed making clothes for grandchildren and their dolls. She was a long-time member of Guilford Baptist Church.
Her family includes sons James Allen "Jim" Isley at home; Robert Arnold Isley, M.D. and wife Lori of Snellville,GA; daughter-in-law Janet Isley ,wife of the late William L. " Bill" Isley, M.D. of Rochester, MN; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations in Rebecca’s memory can be made to Guilford Baptist Church, Granting Grace Foundation for Childhood Cancer, 4260 Communications Dr., Norcross, GA 30093; or to a charity of your choice.
