Mr. Walker had arisen at the usual hour Wednesday and was preparing to send two loads of cotton in town that morning. Around 8:30 o'clock he was talking the matter over with Mrs. Walker, when she noticed him suddenly go limp and slide from his chair to the floor. By the time he could be picked up and placed on a cot nearby, he had expired. Both his father and mother had passed away under similar circumstances.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife and seven children. The children are: Mrs. Martin Norman, McComb; B. J. Walker, McComb; L. S. Walker, McComb; Mrs. J. D. Brent, Meridian; Mrs. L. W. Felder, Okmulgee, Okla.; Miss Eula Walker, teaching in the Meridian schools; D. P. Walker, jr., of Tulsa, Okla.
