Bernice E. Gibson, age 94 of Deepwater,Missouri passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Finey Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Finey Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
Bernice was born in Saginaw, Michigan. She lived in Buckner, Missouri before moving to Deepwater 16 years ago. She was a Cerfified Nuses Assistant doing private duty nursing before she retired. She was a member of the Finey Baptist Church, Deepwater, Missouri.

She is survived by her son, Jack Northrup of Clinton; three grandchildren, Christine Lucier of Clinton, Gordon Northrup and Mary Jane Copenhaver, both of Lee's Summit, Missouri as well as six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
