Ada Bell Ure was born Jan. 31, 1890 in Palmyra, Illinois, the daughter of James and Ella (Quick) Braden. Mrs. Ure came to live in Kansas in the early 1930's and lived in Cherryvale for short time before moving to Independence. She worked in various restaruants in Independence during her lifetime. She was married to Arch Ferguson, he died in 1956. On Sept. 12, 1958, she was united in marriage with Otto B. Mayberry. He died Feb. 22, 1963. In July 1967, she married William T. Ure, He died Dec. 10, 1976.
