Born Oct. 2, 1928, in Aurora, Neb., he was the son of William H. and Ruth Mary Hanson Juhl. On July 18, 1950, he married Eleanor Betsy Seiden in Burlington.
Mr. Juhl was a draftsman for Beloit Iron Works in Beloit, Wis. He served in the Army in Korea for two years. He grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School and Mount Pleasant Junior College. He enjoyed baseball and played on the church softball team until the age of 65. He was a member of People's Church in Beloit and coordinated the Sunday School Bus Program for many years.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Larry Juhl of Janesville, Wis., Royce Juhl of Rockton, Ill., Wellyn Juhl of Rockford, Ill., and Wendell Juhl of Milton, Wis.; one brother, Robert Juhl of Hendersonville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 18 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one grandson.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rozman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Home in Beloit, with the Rev. Ron Anderson officiating.
