Kay Lynne Mallet (Smith) of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020. Born in Galveston on March 25, 1959, she spent the majority of her life in Alvin, Texas. She always wanted to share and make everyone happy. The holidays were her favorite time of the year. She graduated from Alvin High School and then became a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Oscar “Bo” Smith Jr. and mother, Anna Eulalier “Sweetie” Binford and her sister, Gay Nell Collette.

She is survived by her brothers, Harold Rhodes, Robert Rhodes, Donald Rhodes, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Confederate Cemetery located at 998 Dickinson Road, Alvin, Texas 77511.
