HOWARD, HUGH, age 90, of Fultondale, Alabama, died February 13, 1997 in Fultondale. He was a retired Boilermaker and a member of Nazerene Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery (Birmingham, Alabama) will be held Monday, February 17, at 1:00 P.M. Survivors: wife, Stella Howard of Fultondale, Ala.; three daughters, Mildred Jenkins of North Carolina, Joyce Watkins of Beaumont, Tex., and Ann Smith of Petersburg, Va.; two sons, Gene Howard of Fultondale, Ala., and Bill Howard of Shelby, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Walker Chapel Funeral Home (205-849-5000) is directing.
