GREENSBORO Mrs. Carolyn Norris McLamb, 81, passed away on November 7, 2016 at Beacon Place, Greensboro, NC. Born on December 18, 1934 in Sampson County to the late Ernest M. and Janie Norris, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Herbert Cade Norris, and her daughter Carol McLamb Nordsiek, who passed away on November 3, 2016.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Kenneth N. McLamb; her son Mark McLamb (Jan) and her son-in-law Jerry Nordsiek; her grandchildren Kenny McLamb (Heather), Sam McLamb, Caleb Nordsiek, and Noah Nordsiek; her great grandson Eli McLamb; her sister Odell Aman, her brother Landon Norris; and countless nieces and nephews and family and friends.
In order to honor and respect her daughter Carol's funeral in Florida, services for Mrs. McLamb will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Dillon Road Baptist Church, 3136 Dillon Rd, Jamestown, NC, with a visitation to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Gate City Cremations is serving the McLamb family.
