Letha G. Leeper, 92 Cortez died January 4, 1992.
She was born November 7, 1899 in Newport, NC and came to this area 73 years ago from there. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cortez Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Thomas R. "Blue" Fulford of Cortez; two sisters Kathleen Slaughter and Elizabeth Slaughter both of Newport; three grandchildren, Larry Fulford of North Port, Paul Fulford and Terrie Cannon both of Bradenton; and two great grandchildren, Saida Beth Fulford and Jesse Blue Fulford, both of North Port.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 pm today at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Palma Sola Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Cortez Church of Christ, Box 261 Cortez, 34215.
