NAMPA — Services for Harry A. Stauffer, 87, Nampa, who died Wednesday at a Nampa hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Alsip Chapel. The Rev. W. H. Hurn of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will be at Cloverdale.
Mr. Stauffer was born April 30, 1878 at Sioux City, Iowa, and lived for a short time at Correctionville, Iowa. He moved to Nebraska in 1888 where he grew up. He came to the Nampa area in 1935 and married Bertha Isgrigg, Nov. 30, 1936 at Vale, Ore. They farmed near Nampa for a number of years and moved into Nampa in 1959.
They had resided here since that time. He was a member of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Velma Tromburg of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Mrs. Violet Porizek of Garden Grove, Calif.; two brothers, Bert Stauffer of Ontario, and Jerry Stauffer of Gordon, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Buck of Nampa and four grandchildren.
