Dorothy Lowery, 91, passed away Saturday March 14, 2020.
Born August 9, 1928 in Franklin, TN she was the daughter of the late Harvel J. Sullivan and Maggie (Potts) Sullivan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howell W. Lowery (died 03-14-1995 ); her son Terry Lowery and her brothers and sisters.
Dorothy had worked in healthcare as a LPN. She had also worked briefly as a waitress. An outgoing and caring person she enjoyed meeting new folks and spending time with her beloved family. She also was a woman of deep faith and loved her church and church family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Dean Gregory, Regina Cummings, Dennis Lowery and Chester Lowery; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service for Dorothy will be held Wednesday at 1 PM at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN, followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday.
