Mrs. R. C. Nelms Services Will Be Held Sunday
Mrs. R. C. Nelms, 89, of Lubbock, mother of Lee Nelms of Bonham, died in Lubbock Friday, May 9, 1969. She had been in ill health some time.

Funeral services will be held at the Ector United Methodist church at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. W. H. Vale of Clarksville, former pastor of the Ector church, assisted by the Rev. Ray Boykin, pastor of the Ector church, officiating. Interment will be in Carson cemetery with Wise Funeral home directing.

Services were held in Lubbock Saturday afternoon prior to returning Mrs. Nelms to Ector for the Sunday services.

Mrs. Nelms was born Sept. 14, 1879, in Giles, Tenn. Her husband, Robert C. Nelms, preceded her in death in 1936.

She had moved to Lubbock 25 years ago from Ector where she had lived for many years.
Mrs. Nelms had been a member of the Methodist church since childhood.
Survivors are the son, Lee Nelms of Bonham; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Latch of Lubbock, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
