Mrs. Faye Erma Trimble

Mrs. Faye Erma Trimble, 78, 533 1/2 Oakley, died Thursday, Feb. 23, at a Topeka convalescent center.
Mrs. Trimble was a cook in various Topeka restaurants for many years before she retired in 1970.
She was born May 8, 1905, at Winterset, Iowa, the daughter of George W. and Agnes B. Lake Dudney. She lived in St. Marys more than 20 years before she moved to Topeka in 1946.

Mrs. Trimble was a member of the Methodist Church at St. Marys.
She was married to Earl L. Trimble in 1920 at Maple Hill. He died Dec. 25, 1959. A son, Lyle G. Trimble, was killed in action in July 1945. A daughter, Mrs. Helen N. Hawks, died in June 1971.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald D. "Smokey" Trimble, Memphis, Tenn., and Kenneth Gayle Trimble, 533 Oakley; a sister, Mrs. Irene Atkins, Medical Lake, Wash.; a brother, Ray Dudney, Hamilton, Mont.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens west of Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1602 E. Waterman, Wichita, 67211.
